Spring Field Reps

Washington, DC - The Spring CRNC field rep program is current on task, being organized by ED Amanda Hydro. The training lasts approx. 2-3 days with the CRNC staff "reviewing the performance of the trainees." After the learning/review phase, the respective field reps will be assigned to a state to assist in campus CR development.

This spring there will be 9 field reps which are roughly on target for the promises made to various state delegations for last year's election.

Details forthcoming...

The field reps so far are abysmal. They have "training," but absolutely no experience! Really, I'd like those "numbers" they come up with published so I could discern...
1) How many CRs overall were recruited
2) How many new recruits volunteer for campaigning (cross-reference with later data... officials should keep tabs on who helps out, where, and for how much)
3) How many of those new recruits will be involved a year from now
4) How many of those recruits will eventually serve in leadership roles...

Because right now, I'm not encouraged one bit by the National Field Rep program. We could've exchanged 9 field reps for a single deputy per region to assist the state federations in any capacity necessary. Thus, build the State Feds. When the state feds are built up, organized, and trained.... then they can do the recruiting (especially since they'd care more about it- it being their home turf at all)
